Text: 1 Corinthians 7:29-31 The world around the church is changing rapidly, and sometimes we don’t even notice how those changes have already affected us. The grief at the loss of old ways can be immense, but with God’s renewing call, so are the possibilities for ministry and hope.

Baptized for a Life of Learning

We often feel embarrassed when we encounter things that we know nothing about. When St. Paul found some Christians who had never heard of the Holy Spirit, their “not-knowing” was an opportunity for God to do a new thing. Baptized into Christ’s name, we’re always learning.
